In 2012 98 percent of recruiters used social media during the hiring process, which is up from 2011 at 94 percent. The perferred social media marketing network of their choice was LinkedIn at 97 percent followed by Facebook at 51 percent and Twitter at 49 percent. 38 percent of recruiters are planning to use Twitter more in 2013.
